Set-up Mechanic, 3rd shift

 

This position is responsible for setting up equipment and conveyor lines for the packaging of cosmetics and liquid products, usually working on one equipment line within department. Other responsibilities include: makes complete set-ups of some machines on the line and assists with the set-up of others; monitors line operation, makes and assists in making repairs and adjustments to equipment; both during and in preparation for production runs and within generally established limits; maintains and cleans equipment; and performs a variety of related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements include: high school diploma and two years of previous experience in working with mechanical equipment and six months or more of on-the-job training.  Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and follow moderately complex mechanical set-up procedures

This position may require employees to be available Monday through Saturday with the department determining which days will comprise the 40-hour work week based on production and scheduling demands.
