Shift Manager

Mountaire Farms of Delmarva, Inc. at the Selbyville, Delaware facility is a growing leader in Poultry, has an excellent opportunity for a Nightshift Shift Manager reporting to the Plant Manager. Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in First and Second Processing and preferably all area of Poultry Processing.

The Shift Manager is responsible for achieving all safety, yield production and quality goals.? Interacts with all employees and USDA representative in a manner that enhances trust, respect, and cooperation.? This position is highly visible and also maintains compliance with all standards and policies, including HACCP and USDA.

The Shift Manager must possess a through knowledge of poultry processing and pre-op sanitation.? Reviews sales orders and maintains inventory levels.? Coordinates, guides and adjust personnel, equipment, and materials to meet manufacturing schedules and delivery commitments according to business and quality plans.? Leads 30+ supervisors and managers.

High school diploma, college degree preferred.? Production management experience with strong leadership, people and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and communication skills.?
