Job Summary:

?

Responsible for supervising employees on an assigned shift to ensure the manufacture of products, parts, components or assemblies.? Operations may include the following:?forming, mixing raw materials, selecting and packing, parts assembly, and decorating.

?

Job Duties:

?

Supervises production activities to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed established quality requirements, including product integrity and production order documentation.

?

Directs all related personnel actions including final selection, training, performance appraisal, discipline, safety, and settles first step grievances.

?

Supervises security and good housekeeping and administers appropriate personnel and company policies.

?

Conducts periodic inspections of all systems and equipment including product forming machines, mold equipment, product mixing and handling equipment, and assembly.

?

Determines manufacturing priorities based on established weekly production schedules and makes daily assignments.

?

Interprets specifications and makes judgments about the acceptability of production that is in process.

?

Attends production meetings and communicates to staff.

?

Schedules work force to ensure consistent operation.
