SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Johns Manville is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Production Supervisor to be located in Waterville, OH. The Front Line Supervisor will provide the management and leadership to a crew to achieve safety, quality and production goals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with employees and union stewards

Administration of the labor agreement

Plan and schedule work in cooperation with production personnel to utilize equipment and motivate people to maintain maximum productivity levels

Preparation of equipment maintenance recommendations for management

Assist with improvements to improve equipment, process, product quality and development of new products.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Two years college education, AA/AAS degree or equivalent

One to two years in a manufacturing environment

Leadership capabilities and problem solving skills

Team Building

General business knowledge

Ability to achieve results independently

Ability to work any assigned shift

Computer proficiency

Positve interpersonal skills

Adaptability

Mechanical/electrical skills
