Shipment Quality Assurance Clerk

SUMMARY

Responsible for final quality check of all customer orders and ensures accuracy of report assembly against production order.  Finalizes packaging of orders for shipment to final destination using pre-determined carrier by performing the following duties:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS include the following:

 

Inspects customized reports for accuracy against standard operating procedures and defined quality check standards.

 

Matches customer order with appropriate invoice and carrier paperwork.

 

Ensures customer order includes all items and is delivered in accordance to order specifications.

 

Monitors online reports throughout the day in order to achieve daily order fulfillment requirements.

 

Assists with the printing, assembly, binding, or workflow processes as necessary or required.

 

Accurately uses FedEx, UPS or any other delivery tracking system.

 

Affix shipping labels and verify address accuracy to ensure proper handling by carrier.

 

Sort parcels for shipment according to carriers or other classification and place parcels on skids or in bins to await shipment.

 

Provides assistance to Account Rep in tracking shipments when required.

 

Ability to accurately complete required SAP transactions.

 

Ability to work well with others.

 

Other duties as assigned.

 

Note: Hours of the position are 1:00-9:00pm.
Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Must possess problem solving skills and high attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task and balance priority and shifting deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Has the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
