Shipping & Receiving Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Android Industries, a successful and growth oriented leader in the fast paced, quickly expanding modular assembly segment of the American automotive industry, has an opening for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for our new Sterling Heights, Michigan facility. Our intent is to hire or promote the person who best meets Android?s expectations for the position.

 Primary Job Responsibilities

The role of the shipping and receiving leader is to ensure that all Ai systems are properly used in the handling of our product and to enhance the performance of the  team through training, facilitating, communicating and helping out as needed to assist the team in achieving their goals in the areas of; team, safety, quality, and production.

 

Leadership responsibilities will include setting the environment, focus, pace and tone of the team through each action. This leader will promote Ai's philosophies and values at all times.  The shipping and receiving team leader will be responsible for maintaining a safe show room facility.  This leader will ensure that Ai?s systems are adhered to in the following areas supporting the 100% ship to customer requirements and 99.95% inventory accuracy expectations:

 

  -Receiving Inspection

  -Layout

  -FIFO

  -5S

  -Dock Safety and Hilo Inspection

  -Shipping

  -5 Alarm System

 

Qualifications and Experience

?  Demonstrated Leadership skills.

?  Has a sense of urgency.

?  2 Years experience working directly in an assembly work environment, preferrably as a hilo operator.

?  Flexible work schedule

?  Excellent hi lo driving record.

? Positive attitude
