Shop Manager
Shop Manager
Soukup Construction in Sioux Falls, S.D., is currently looking for a Shop Manager to manage the shop and the current mechanics. Our shop currently handles all of the minor repairs in house. We do some major repairs depending on how large of a project. The shop does all the services on the heavy equipment and trucks. We are looking for a motivated individual that will take the existing shop and improve the day to day operation to make the shop more productive. The shop manager must have knowledge of construction equipment and have good people skills. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills be results driven and oriented.
About our Company:
Soukup Construction does heavy equipment operations, some examples are many types of excavations and backfills, street reconstruction, quarry operations, all types of demolition, parking lot grading and trucking of various materials. We have approximately 200 pieces of equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, scrapers, tractors, semis, tandem dump trucks, side dumps, trailers, packers, and many other support equipment. We employee 50 to 60 field operators, 5 to 8 shop mechanics, and 7 to 9 office personnel.
