 Job Description

 

You will assist the Sourcing Manager/Director of Sourcing with coordinating and maintaining a reliable factory base that meets Quiksilver requirements and quality standards.  You will handle incoming and outgoing packages, communicate and follow up with factories and merchants on a daily basis as needed.  You will be responsible to get approvals from merchandising and design, and monitoring and maintaining work in progress reports.

 

Job Requirements:

 

? PC proficient, emphasis on Excel and Word

? Education course work or previous experience in textiles/apparel manufacturing

? Knowledge of product with interest/willingness to learn

? Familiarity with product development process and resources-helpful

? Strong interpersonal skills-written and verbal communication

? Excellent prioritization skills

? Flexible to changing demands with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

? Ability to proactively identify, analyze, and problem solve

? Attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
