Provides technical support to the A/C lab and product-engineering group by performing the following duties.?Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1.?????? Receive test requests and verbal instructions from engineer.2.?????? Run 1-3 test cells as required.3.?????? Record test information and relay it to the engineer.4.?????? Start cell system, achieve desired dry and wet bulb.5.?????? Install equipment into test cell.6.?????? Change coils, compressors & motors as required.7.?????? Locate equipment and extra parts as necessary.8.?????? Thermocouple unit as required.9.?????? Braze system together & leak test.10.?? Evacuate system & charge to engineer specifications.11.?? Wire unit to cell high & low voltage.12.?? Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary to assure a safe, productive, and orderly workplace.13.?? Be aware and follow safe job practices.?

1.?????? High school diploma or GED required.2.?????? Associates or Technical degree preferred.3.?????? Calibration lab environment experience preferred.4.?????? Five years related experience.5.?????? Some HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance, electrical and mechanical background preferred.??Certificates, Licenses, Registrations1. NATE/RES certification preferred.
