We have an outstanding opportunity for a Sr. Lean Sigma Leader, based in our Lithonia, GA manufacturing facility.

 

Position Overview



This exciting role will focus on Lean Manufacturing and Quality utilizing Six Sigma principals. Key success factor will be implementation of a continuous improvement philosophy, related practices, and processes in support of all plants and operations. This leader must have a proven track record of successfully leading teams and projects. There will be regular travel to our company headquarters in Southern California.

 

Key Responsibilities

Development of the organization toward a ?waste reduction? lean and ?process variation reduction? problem-solving philosophy.Successful implementation of lean manufacturing concepts such as kaizen, value stream mapping, Kanban, demand flow technology and Six sigma to develop improvements for the manufacturing operations.Serve as change agent in the organization by driving the cultural transformation and adoption of successful lean and 6 Sigma practices.Identify and work to remove barriers that slow or prevent successful attainment of process/productivity improvement that will lead to cost reduction and competitive advantage.Assist production departments in day-to-day operation by offering technical support for production challenges.Develop and lead the lean and Six Sigma training strategy along with project management.

 

 Skills/Competencies Required

Lean expert manufacturing principals (proven track record)

6 Sigma skills (Master Belt preferred or willing to obtain within one year)

Ability to coach others, including business leaders in Lean & Six Sigma practices.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of a multicultural organization

Structured problem-solving and process analysis skills and experience

Knowledge of BaaN and ERP systems is a plus.

Minimum of five years related experience in high volume/medium mix, high volume/low mix and low unit value industrial product manufacturing.

Outstanding facilitation skills.

Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Technical degree in a related field
