Sr. Proj. Mgr., Proc. Excel.

As a Sr. Project Mgr you will develop design alternatives and recommend improvements to Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes. You will use advanced proven process knowledge and improvement techniques, such as value stream mapping and Pareto charts to make significant contributions to Manufacturing (MRP) processes. You will lead major projects/areas within the overall ERP program, such as Production Scheduling/Execution and/or Quality or Warehouse Management and Plant Maintenance. You will identify, advocate, and lead projects within the program to achieve the strategies and vision of the program, the process, or the functional area being supported. You will clearly articulate the strategy and vision of the program to key stakeholders. You will use project management skills to create plans, attain resources, resolve issues, and ensure the completion of deliverables for Manufacturing Operations projects/processes. You will be responsible for the overall project execution where assigned as the project lead. You will recommend, manage, and track business case and metrics for a major project. You will manage the delivery of a major project that meets the needs of the stakeholders, and supports the agreed upon strategies. Within a major project, you will ensure that the change management system is executed so that end users are effectively educated on how to utilize the standard processes and systems to maximize performance results. You will directly be responsible for compliance work of product to internal and external regulations to avoid unacceptable risk to project, program, or Functional Area. You will be an individual contributor however may be responsible for the performance, evaluation, mentoring, and career development of any direct reports. You will direct a team comprised of internal and external personnel, and will provide performance feedback. You will recommend project staffing plans and budget.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline with 10 - 12 years of experience or 8 - 10 years of experience with a relevant Master's Degree. 4 - 5 years manufacturing plant/supply chain business process experience within the pharmaceutical industry is recommended. 6 - 7 years project management experience is recommended. Experience and knowledge of SAP systems is strongly preferred (R/3, APO, BW). 4 - 6 years of supervisory experience is recommended. APICS certification is a plus. Training is required on the applicable software, GXP regulations for both U.S. and EMEA, and internal policies and procedures.
