Sr / Warehouse Person - 3rd shift

Job Summary Major Responsibilities - Perform all warehouse duties related to receiving, shipping, and storage of stock (raw material, work in process, and finished goods) and nonstock items, as well as production support.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and department/site guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, DEA, etc.).
- Operate proficiently all equipment in the warehouse (including, but not limited to forklift trucks, swing reach truck, electric pallet truck, hand trucks, stretch wrap machines, radio frequency equipment, etc.)
- Operate CRT and Radio Frequency terminals necessary for the proper identification, storage and retrieval of items in the material handling system.
- Understand information and instructions on the Bill of Lading for shipments. Know how to fill out Bill of Lading paperwork.
- Communicate relevant Bill of Lading information to carrier representative/driver.
- Assist in various cycle counting and taking of inventories.
- Perform all housekeeping tasks necessary to keep work areas clean.
- Work to support department and site Key Performance Indicators.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Responsibilities

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 - 3 years warehouse shipping and receiving experience.
- Successful completion of PIT Safety Training Course.
- Physical demands include lifting up to and including 60 lbs.
