Supervise all employees on assigned shift. Plan work schedules, train employees and evaluate performance.

Responsibilities:
Plan work assignments to satisfy the manufacturing schedule and to achieve efficient utilization of manpower and equipment.
Maintain employee performance, work schedules, attendance records, and maintain good housekeeping practices.
Provide instruction and training in all manufacturing operations.
Communicate with other supervisors and work out interface problems in order to assure that a satisfactory product is produced in an efficient manner.
Will have involvement with department scheduling, staffing, productivity, equipment utilization, as well as department budget forecast, development and control.
Perform quality checks, appraisal and merit reviews. Responsible for scheduling and maintaining consistent product workflow.
Administer company policies and manufacturing procedures.
Maintain a safe working environment, and assure compliance with all safety rules.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed.
Ability to perform in a self-directed environment with little supervision
Knowledge of ceramic core injection process is a plus.
