Supply Chain Management Manager

Job Description: Solectron is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management Manager to lead the Customer Supply Chain Managers (CSCMs) supporting key accounts relationships. GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management. Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods and processes in support of both new and existing products.

Responsible for managing the Fremont CSCM team whose primary responsibilities/tasks are as follows:
.Responsible for setting dependable cost and price reduction targets
.Project and measure overall account materials profitability
.Support account management in modeling potential supply chain cost and pricing alternatives
.Assist in driving Replenishment %, DOS Reduction, and Inventory Turns
.Assist in maintaining an agreed-upon quarterly pricing schedule for the supply chain
.Ensure price adjustments (cut-ins) across the site are managed efficiently and effectively
.Work with site Procurement and Global Supply Base Managers (GSBMs) when developing and/or implementing new standard prices
.Assist in the coordination of buy-down negotiations with customer
.Assist in helping to drive material cost reduction activities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations
2. Reviews materials related data analyses
3. Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives
4. Directs the activities of supply chain managers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
5. Interacts regularly with executives, customers and vendors
6. Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Solectron's financial competitiveness
7. Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years of supply chain management experience or similar field, including supervision, as well as a B.S. in a related field. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates mastery of expertise in multiple areas and industry. Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Solectron and related business. Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site. MS Office proficiency and experience with large databases required.
