The Situation
The Supply Chain & Operations Strategy Team is responsible for leveraging the supply chain synergies that exist across the various Disney business units. The Team also provides strategic direction and subject matter expertise relevant to all areas of the overall value chain. The Position
The Manager, Supply Chain & Operations Strategy will be responsible for managing initiatives within and across the various Disney business segments. The position will be focused on cost-savings, partnership development and operational efficiencies across a broad range of spend.

Key Responsibilities:


Demonstrated ability to manage supply chain projects on time and within budget

Initiate and collaboratively develop opportunities with the key stakeholders to improve processes and/or reduce costs

Assist in the development of the AOP, track progress and update forecasts

Develop a strong working relationship with the key stakeholders

Implement and influence best practices in supply chain disciplines

Develop a core understanding of the business unit cost drivers and their impact on operations, customers and competitors

Actively participate in supplier contract negotiations

Mentor and assist others in expanding their skills sets and knowledge base

The Ideal Candidate:

Core Skills:

Supply Chain experience (logistics, distribution, supplier management, procurement, transportation, inventory management, customer care)

Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and maintain strong business relationships

Project management skills

Six Sigma and/or Lean certified

Detailed financial analysis experience

Solid negotiation skills

In depth knowledge of key supply chain processes and best practices

Strategic thinker open to a dynamic changing environment

Team oriented leadership with a collaborative business style

Desired Qualifications:


Supply Chain background

Consultative background

Six Sigma and/or Lean certification

3-5 years supply chain experience

Bachelor's degree required

International experience preferred

APICS certification a plus

Travel- up to 25%

TMS and WMS functional understanding
