Supply Chain Project Manager

Responsibilities:
Supply Chain project management with responsibility to implement Lean techniques, VMI/Consignment Cycle Time reduction, value stream mapping, and traffic/logistics solutions knowledge in order to manage high level worldwide cost reduction and mission critical projects.
- Manage projects for assigned products including new product launches, line extensions, product changes, packaging changes, special packs, etc.
- Develop and update project timelines throughout the course of the project.
- Represent technical, logistical and GMP aspects of new product introductions to project teams.
- Coordinate with all functional areas to ensure product development and manufacturing compliance with Medical, Regulatory, Legal and CGMP requirements and guidelines.
- Coordinate Technical Operations input to timelines, cost development, manufacturing launch plans, technical feasibility assessments, capital needs, validations and stability assessments.
- Facilitate the communication between project core teams and implementation teams.
- Communicate capital needs, resource conflicts, capacity shortfalls and analyze project risks. Report issues and recommendations to project teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and any customer service issues at all times for assigned products ? assemble and lead the necessary resources to resolve any supply chain issues that may threaten our target inventory and customer service objectives.
- Ability to lead and work with culturally diverse teams and function as global lead on key projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills to communicate technical and non-technical issues to various levels of management within and outside the Diabetes Care Division.

Skills:
Microsoft Project, Gantt Charts, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, and other project software packages.
Must be able to generate data quickly by utilizing Crystal reporting or MS Access software and/or other project management tools.
Theoretical knowledge and tactical application in Lean Manufacturing, materials management certification, and Certified in six sigma black belt certification a plus.

Education & Typical Experience:
Typical education would be a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or Engineering with 10+ yrs. experience.
