Systems Trainer

Systems Trainer Description: Work with division management, supervisors and dealer user groups to define, establish and implement training objectives and carry out training plans. Works with client-dealers and dealer management in establishing new and innovative methods to improve training curriculum, documentation, activities, multi-media opportunities including annual meetings with clients by market group.

Conducts high-level needs analyses to resolve training and performance issues and problems and recommends appropriate course of action which can include a defined curriculum as well as customized training classes to address the specific needs of a given dealer, group of dealers, or customer's organization.

Provides professional multilevel training for customer's dealers. Defines and implements training curriculum for products and systems. Training is conducted at regional centers as well as on-site at dealer locations. Dealer personnel who often receive training include clerical staff, operational staff, and department managers. Classes must be appropriate for all students and be job role based.

Monitors and coordinates use of outside training resources while determining methods and media to be used and works with vendors on scripts, video and production. Works with training environment coordinator to ensure appropriate data is developed for their curriculum.

Develops and maintains user procedure documentation according to established standards to ensure consistency and accuracy in the documentation. Coordinates the translations of their documentation and curriculum content.
Typical internal customers include the product implementers and marketing company. External customers may include two to ten dealer participants per class.

Additional responsibilities could include new release integrated testing and participation on one or more 6 Sigma projects.



Requirements:
Minimum = business analyst knowledge of dealer operations and experience in core applications (Parts, Service, EMS); be able to develop presentations and have excellent presentation skills, facilitation of groups, verbal & written communication. Must be a self-starter and be customer focused. Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years relevant work experience.

Highly Desired = Excellent interpersonal skills, technical writing experience and a strong background in systems development and integration.
