TS / QS QUALITY ENGINEER

TS/ QS Quality Engineer

 

 

A high-powered contract manufacturing company is looking to expand its core business by pursuing TS-16949 certification. We are looking for a Quality Engineer with TS (QS9000) experience. Candidates must be familiar with TS-16949 quality system and the processes included in upgrading from either QS or ISO.

 

The successful candidate must be experienced in technical writing and employee training. He / She must be able to take the requirements of TS and make them applicable to the personnel that will be using the procedures/ processes. Prior hands-on experience in TS/ QS implementation is required to insure a smooth transition from our existing system (ISO) to TS.

 

A working knowledge of manufacturing processes is essential as well as proficiency in technical writing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. A college degree is preferred or ASQE certificate/ equivalent.  Solid experience in creating ISO procedures, work instructions and flow charts is preferred.

 

Candidate will be working primarily at our Garden Grove facility but will also have responsibility in upgrading our new plant in Mexico. Excellent benefits and great team atmosphere! Salary commensurate with experience and education.
