The Team Coordinator, Production Operations Support primary responsibilities are managing mechanical and electrical support associates to ensure production equipment and related processes support the business unit objectives.

Other responsibilities includes: Establishing an overall equipment-management plan to meet objectives, maintain and manage established budgets, and partnering with the appropriate support departments to ensure they successfully implement the plan. Manage the work group by assessing skills, developing support group associates, and actively training the associates in team interactive skills and safety procedures. Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Departmental Operating Procedures (DOPs) is required.

Specific Duties:
Coordinate activities of electrical and mechanical technicians to achieve company objectives.
Participate in Implementation Group (IG) meetings as a key contributor; assess equipment requirements to support the launch and ongoing production of new SKUs to the business unit.
Partner with key support groups including Engineering, Validation, Shop floor, etc., to ensure the appropriate purchase, installation, validation, documentation and qualification is achieved for new equipment, e.g., provide information required for successful and timely approval of Capital Appropriations Requests including the writing and/or reviewing of User Requirement and Validation documents (test scripts, deviation reports and final documents).
Participate in the problem solving process and lead analysis related to equipment malfunctions or issues that result in unplanned deviations or unplanned downtime.
Ensure the necessary training for Operations Support personnel on the concepts and skills required to perform their duties effectively.
Initiate and complete required quality and safety investigations and CAPA follow-up.
Empower and lead shop floor operators through lean manufacturing concepts i.e. TPM and 5-S, company philosophies, and equipment software application, i.e. Factoryware, to show continuous improvements and cost/productivity savings.
Comply with GMPs/SOPs/DOPs.
Recognize/resolve conditions and behaviors that may affect the safety of shop floor operators and ensure compliance to all safety procedures and guidelines.
Responsible for monitoring completion of PM's, development of run hour based PM's, reviewing, rewriting and updates in the Preventative Maintenance system.

Qualifications
B.S. degree, with emphasis in electromechanical knowledge and skills.
General knowledge of science, mechanics, mathematics, and computer skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills to coordinate and evaluate shop support personnel and daily tasks.
Familiarity or ability to learn current regulatory requirements, i.e. GMPs, SOPs, EEO, FDA, DEA, and OSHA practices.
