Team Leader

Description of Work:
- Coordinate efforts in the Maintenance Department to ensure employees are completing work assignments.
- Assist employees in resolution of problems.
- Help employees get needed assistance from various support departments.
- Ability to interface with people within all organizations at all levels.
- Identify hazardous workplace conditions, remove hazards and/or protect employees by guarding, revising work procedures.
- Perform training and ensure use of personal protective equipment.
- Investigate, prepare, and forward as required reports on injuries.
- Ensure correct labor charging practices by training, auditing, and assisting the hourly employees in this practice.
- Coach teams to high performance, business-based decision making.

Job Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of related experience required.
- Strong background in Maintenance or Facilities operations and leadership skills required; prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient PC skills in MC Word and Excel required.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001, Preventative/Predictive Maintenance Systems.
- Demonstrated team building skills preferred.
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours for shift coverage, e.g. off-shift and overlap.
- Must be able to spend majority of time on the manufacturing floor.
