Technical Manager - Maintenance

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The position of Technical Manager will provide all required technical support to plant bottling and processing equipment. He or she will coordinate local projects, facility maintenance, and safety/environments activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design and coordinate plant Preventative Maintenance plans
2. Optimize preventative and predictive maintenance through use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System
3. Provide technical direction for all capital projects for the facility
4. Administer technical support and strategic direction for all site safety and environmental initiatives
5. Analysis reporting and communication of departmental key metrics related to maintenance systems, safety and environmental
6. Manage all facility maintenance
7. Track, manage and improve energy usage of plant
8. Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for all maintenance, safety and environmental related activities
9. Provide direct support to all continuous improvement activities for Production units

REQUIREMENTS
1. Previous maintenance experience in a food or beverage production environment
2. In-depth understanding of the preventative maintenance process
3. Thorough understanding of automation controls and industrial power distribution
4. Knowledge and experience to plan and execute projects from conception to completion
5. Solid analytical, problem solving and technical trouble shooting skills
6. Working knowledge of the financial considerations when controlling a maintenance budget
7. Ability to influence change and innovation in a team atmosphere
8. Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision
9. Acquainted with Productive Total Maintenance and Statistical Process Control
10. Technical degree with 5+ years of experience managing a maintenance department in a manufacturing environment
