Technical Production Suupervisor

Job Description:
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for facilitating continuous improvement and coordinating the technical improvement of the game board process on three shifts, as well as supervising the daily production activities. Coordinate technical support for the game board process with supporting areas to include, but not limited to, engineering, maintenance, purchasing, quality, and OEM and material suppliers. Supervise daily production in a union environment. Responsible to work with Production Planning to provide a comprehensive production plan in support of game board customers. Must have strong interpersonal and team building skills. Must be able to effectively facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and manage ISO 9001, ISO 14000, 5S, TMP programs.

Skill Requirements:
Strong mechanical background required
Knowledge of lamination and/or adhesives required
Basic computer skills including Excel and Word required
Knowledge of ISO 9000 and 14000, MRP, and SAP manufacturing control system a plus

Education/Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years supervisory and operations experience in a machine intensive production environment
Experience with facilitating Lean Manufacturing initiatives in a production environment
College degree preferred or equivalent experience
