Technical Quality Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead the implementation of the internal reject documentation and tracking system

- Analyze and problem solve for Internal PPM reduction program

- Prioritize improvement efforts through the application of quality tools

- Work with the improvement teams to problem solve; coach the teams in the use of problem solving tools and support the teams with data analysis

- Lead problem solving efforts for customer complaints as a part of a team with operations support and pareto PPM issues

- Update PFMEA?s when process changes are required as a part of improvement efforts

- Enhance the SPC data collection system to implement process improvement efforts (Cpk).



Qualifications and Skills:

- Must possess strong leadership qualities

- Application of Basic and Advanced Statistical tools

- Extensive Problem Solving Experience

- Excellent administrative/organizational skills

- High integrity and adherence to core values

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills

- Creative at developing and presenting metrics

- Results oriented

- Ability to make analytical decisions with little direction

- Self-motivated ability to identify priority work and finish it in a timely manner

- Ability to deal with unresolved situations frequent change, delays or unexpected events

- Able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency

- Strong PC skills including the use of Statistical software such as SQC Pack



Education and/or Experience:

- BS or related degree in an Engineering/Technical Discipline

- 2-5 years experience in Quality Engineering

- ASQ CQE Certification preferred

- Knowledge and ability to apply the AIAG developed standard such as APQS, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC

- Trained Auditor for TS16949 a plus

- Knowledge of mistake proofing and verification processes

- Six Sigma or Lean Mfg. Experiences a plus
