Technical Trainer Access Systems

Position Summary

The Access Control/Systems trainer provides technical training to customers and end users at Bosch Training Centers and at other regional sites as necessary in support of Bosch business needs and Customer Care objectives.  The technical trainer collaborates with internal customers and receives direct supervision from the Training Director and is expected to manage his or her training operations independently and efficiently on an ongoing basis. 

 

Principal Responsibilities

4  Schedule and deliver classroom, site-specific, and remote technical access control and systems training programs.

o Deliver classroom training for customers, regional sales managers, and Bosch employees

o Deliver live web seminars (public and private)

o Complete occasional special assignments, including trade shows, training
  assistance at installs, and technical demonstrations 

4  Maintain current product knowledge on Access Control systems 

4  Work closely with internal customers, Bosch training management, and Technical Support to identify skill gaps and training solutions within the training territory

4  Participate in the development of training materials by collaborating with the product development team and training department team as a reviewer, subject matter expert, or trainer for Beta classes

4  Other duties as assigned



 

Education

B.S. degree in a technical field or equivalent security industry experience is required, along with CTT+ training certification or equivalent

 Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in the security industry and a minimum 5 years of technical training experience or combined training/customer service experience, preferably in Access Systems

 

Special Skills

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as computer literacy

Effective time management skills, proven ability to work independently

Ability to travel approximately 70%
