Technical Trainer/Customer Support

We are currently looking for a Technical Trainer and support specialist to join our Customer Support team. The Technical Trainer and support specialist is responsible for organization, preparation, and delivery of customer training, as well as contributing to other aspects of the customer support organization.  This position will be based in our Wilmington, MA, headquarters.



 

Responsibilities include:

 

? develop and deliver standardized training curricula for Ahura?s analytical devices;

? maintain in-depth understanding of Ahura?s principal products;

? provide technical assistance to the customer base;

? work closely with members of the technical/engineering/scientific staff, as well as sales, customer support, marketing and operations, to be able to act as interface with customers;

 

Skill and Experience Requirements:



 

? strong teaching ability in a variety of professional environments;

? strong customer service orientation;

? strong problem-solving abilities;

? comfort in dealing with technical concepts;

? technical communication skills;

? training in a related discipline very helpful;

? innate curiosity and interest in instrumentation;

? some experience with spectroscopic methods (FTIR, Raman, mass-spec) is a plus.





 

Education and Training:

 

? Bachelor?s degree or higher strongly preferred;

? Science, engineering, or technical education background or expertise desired.

 

Travel:

 

Approximately 75%.
