Technician - Bioreactors

JOB TITLE: Technician (Fri-Mon, 7:00AM-5:30PM)
DEPARTMENT: Bioreactor

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Support operation of Bioreactor vessels.
? Support operation of Downstream Virus Production Area.
? Participate in area equipment, personnel, and operations scheduling.
? Ensure compliance with SOPs, MDs, and cGMPs.
? Perform PRISM data entry.
? Conduct training in aseptic technique and documentation and required SOP's.
? Perform daily sampling and monitoring of cultures and conduct Environmental Monitoring.
? Participate in validation studies / executions and inactivation kinetics studies, protocols and execution.
? Assist with potency investigations and contamination investigations.
? Monitor vessel preparation (dry sterilization and integrity test bioreactors).

QUALIFICATIONS:
? BS in a science field, or equivalent experience
? Previous leadership and/or manufacturing experience preferred
? This position requires a commitment to current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs), documentation, and strict adherence to written procedures.
? Strong mechanical aptitude
? Good oral and written communication skills
? Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
