QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Substantial mechanical/technical aptitude and ability.
* Strong interpersonal effectiveness and leadership skills. High level of personal motivation and initiative.
* Good decision making and communication skills. Ability to work effectively and proficiently with minimal supervision. Ability to achieve and maintain position certification requirements.

DUTIES:

* Demonstrate the ability to understand the working of moderate to highly complex equipment and technology. Be able to perform moderate to highly complex equipment maintenance and trouble-shooting tasks involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC operated equipment.
* Accept shared responsibility for overall production and packaging line performance and improvement.
* Responsible to take the lead in learning to operate and maintain new equipment.
* Responsible in assisting the Unit Leader, or be his/her designate, to make timely, effective operational decisions.
* Become knowledgeable and comply with Company policies and procedures, GMP's and departmental safety, quality and operational procedures.
* All other duties as assigned.
