Test Technician

General Description:

? Perform electrical operational testing of switchgear & transit equipment prior to shipment

? Perform dimensional, operational and visual verification on received parts.

? Coordinate and Conduct Internal Quality System Audits

? Manage Customer complaints

? Record and Maintain Inspection and Test Records

? Support field service

 

Work experience requirements:

? Experience with electrical distribution equipment

? Experience with ISO9001 requirements.

? Mechanical Assembly, Electrical Wiring

? Field Service Work a Plus

? Able to read and understand electrical or mechanical drawings

? Past problem solving and root cause analysis

? Ability to work with all levels of the organization

STRONG experience with Microsoft outlook, excel, word and access.

 

Education Requirements

?  Electrical or Mechanical degree preferred

?  Certification in Quality preferred

?  ISO Training

?  Familiarization with Six Sigma

?  Familiarization with Lean Manufacturing
