Test and Calibration Technician

Teledyne Instruments, a business unit of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) is seeking a temporary Test Technician for its Analytical Instruments business unit located in City of Industry, California. 

 

This position is currently contingent on a temporary basis with the possibility of full time employment.  Job duties include but are not limited to, performing operational tests, fault isolation, diagnostic and repairs of integrated systems, PCBs and electromechanical instrumentation in-house, and in the field.  Support customer service activities such as telephone technical support.  Good written and verbal communication skills verbal are required.  Seeking 2-4 years of experience in the electronics industry in a similar position (or military technical training).  Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes DMM and signal generators.  Knowledge of gas analyzers is a plus.  Must be able to read and comprehend schematics and drawings. Microsoft Office and working knowledge of the PC is a must.
