Description:

 

Responsibilities includes schedule out of state deliveries and releases, update and control prices for truck orders, negotiate freight rates, research credit discrepancies on shortages for truck orders, coordinate with plants regarding production schedules on deliveries and pick up. Make changes to unshipped products and revised orders. Conduct inventory control for outside cold storage, match freights and storage bills to invoices, match seafood purchased invoice to received inventory, provide customer service support for pet food customers, zoos and aquariums. Arrange LTL (less than a load) deliveries and make analysis of weights per load. Assist salesman and executives with inquiries on orders and truck deliveries and pick up. In addition to the above responsibilities, this person will have the opportunity to be cross-train on inventory control.

 

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

Ability to work independently, is dependable and possess excellent problem solving skills. Good interpersonal skills and experience with trucking, deliveries, pick up or scheduling is a plus.  Intermediate level of computer skills is desired.  High school diploma required.  Some college or equivalent degree preferred. Requires a minimum of five years work related experiences.  This is a full time position.

 

 

Work hours is Monday ? Friday from  7:00-4:00 p.m.

Salary is commensurate with experience and education.

Pay range is between $35,000-$50,000 annually.
