Transportation Manager

Job Description: This position reports to the Sr. Director of Transportation & Warehouse Management, and will be intimately involved in the day-to-day management of the company's transportation procurement and customer service functions.
Responsibilities will include:
* Management and control of freight payment
* Management of carrier relationships
* Delivery issues
* Claims issues
* Cost improvement opportunities
* Management of Constar's freight information database
* Management of related policies and procedures

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred with demonstrated transportation management experience; strong written and verbal interpersonal skills; able to positively interact and work with a 3rd party logistics provider and directly with common carriers; computer literate in MS Office Access / Excel / Word; demonstrated analytical abilities.
