Vice President/Controller

Our client is a multi million dollar manufacturing operation headquartered in the Southeastern U.S. The position is for a new Vice President/ Controller.The position is the top financial position in the company and will report to the Chief Executive Officer.

 

Responsibilities; The position is responsible for recording and reporting the financial affairs of the organization and preparing financial analyses of the operation. The Controller is responsible for the company?s financial reporting, plans, policies and internal controls, accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with lending institutions, insurance providers, and outside accountants, and the maintenance of its fiscal records. The position involves supervision of a three person staff.

 

Qualifications; BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification preferred, 5+ years in financial management, excellent computer skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills.

 

Compensation; The position will offer both a base and incentive bonus that will attract outstanding candidates.
