Our client, a $150 million distributor located in Chicago, has an exceptional opportunity for a Vice President, Finance.  Poised to rapidly grow to $500 million in revenue; the successful candidate will have demonstrated success stewarding technological advances and in driving the financial performance of the organization. Expertise with acquisition management and organic growth are required. Working directly with the CEO, equity owners and board, the successful candidate will have strong forecasting, financial analysis and management expertise with a communicative leadership style.

This Vice President, Finance will manage the accounting function, credit and potentially IT.  They will also use their interpersonal skills to lead and develop their team, improving individual and department efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:CPA and Bachelor?s Degree in Finance or Accounting are required 10+ years work experience in a financial management role within a manufacturing and/or distribution organizationHeavy cash management and tax experienceAcquisition experience and experience working within a matrix organization is a mustStrong financial analyst skills along with experience developing new reporting processes and internal controlsBusiness systems background a definite plus

 

Salary commensurate with experience. Variable compensation and benefit package available.
