Vice President of Sales & Marketing

National avaiation company is seeking a VP of Sales & Marketing

 

Develop effective growth strategies addressing individual market segments, and manage the staff to create and execute supporting tactics. Manage the Sales & Marketing team to achieve established goals, and personally guide new business development activities. 

 

Essential Functions:

?  Meet or exceed revenue goals by formulating appropriate market segment strategies. 

 

?  Work with sales managers to develop and execute tactics that support market segment strategies. 

 

?  Responsible for new business development, with emphasis on OEM customers.

 

?  Contribute to the strategic direction of the company by participating in management forums.

 

?  Manage all aspects of the Sales and Marketing Department to meet established department objectives. 

 

Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements:

Requires capability in contemporary sales and marketing techniques and methodologies, knowledge of the corporate aviation industry as a whole, with emphasis on cabin electronics related product lines, and the ability to recruit, build, and supervise a professional staff.  Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, sales representatives, staff, management and other employees.

 

Experience/Training/Education Requirements:

 Required:  An undergraduate degree with a minimum of 10 or more years in a direct sales and marketing capacity within the aviation industry.

 

Desirable:  A graduate degree in Business or Aerospace Engineering and a minimum of 15 years previous experience with an OEM aircraft manufacturer or cabin electronics provider.
