Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor manages logistics to provide warehousing & customer delivery that meets/exceeds cost, service, quality & safety standards by maximizing the performance of internal/external service providers.

Main Responsibilities:
Hires, manages, trains, develops reports.
Ensures shift operations execute product introductions/acquisition integrations.
Ensures policy/procedure compliance.
Executes TQM plans.
Communicates/reinforces plans.
Creates/reinforces safe work place.
Drives/empowers reports to embrace continuous imprvmnt.
Maint. clear communication/co-oper. internally & w/ major suppliers/vendors.
Wks in net. to avoid quality/service issues.
Reports shift &/or site perform.
Coordinates redesign/imprvmt projects.
Monitors fxd assets; implements apprvd CARs.
Advises of innovations to provide competitive advantage.
Gen./implements ideas to improve performance.
Implements Lean concepts/practices.
Supervises inventory ctrl, warehousing, trans, planning, order processing & customer serv.
Ensures exec. of the daily shipping/receiving activities.
Helps develop site budget for year over year improvement.
Ensures dir. reports understand metrics.
Resolves qual., serv. & cost issues.
Supports oversite of DOH inventory levels to achieve targets.

Key Qualifications:

Required:


Knowledge of financial or cost anal. & meas. of logistics.
Knowledge/exp. with industrial safe practices/procedures.
Strong Computer literacy; demonstrated use of technology to improve logistics perform.
Dem. leadership/communication skills.
Tactical/strategic thinking skills.
Fluency in English.
4-year degree in Bus., Logistics, Trans., or Eng.
Min 2-yrs supvisry exp.
Signi. exp. in a high-sku network.
Exp. managing line positions.

Preferred:


Adv, tech. or bus. degree strongly pref.
Exp. in a rel. industry (food/ bev., consmer prod., pharm., etc.) & managing chem. supply chain.
Reg. production/GMP/Medical device exp.
Exp. in related functional areas, incl: Prod., Planning, Purch., Quality, Eng., Compliance, Reg. & HR.
Exp. in R&D/related area.
Acquisition integration exp.
Exp in 6 Sigma, Lean, 5S.
