Job Purpose
As a strategic business within GE Plastics, Polymershapes is the nation's leading distributor and fabricator of plastic sheet, rod, film, tube and engineered products with annual sales over $500 million and approximately 900 employees in 80 locations across the US, Canada, and Latin America.

Essential Functions

Contribute to branch goals and objectives by contributing warehouse recommendations to strategic plans and reviews

Load and unload trucks

Adhere to production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards

Audit and cycle count compliance

Compliance with warehouse operations systems by adhering to product handling and storage requirements

Adherence to all company policies and procedures

Shipment confirmation, equipment utilization, inventory management, and picking/packing/shipping of orders

Maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment by supporting, following, and enforcing standards

Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications

HS diploma or GED required

2yrs+ warehouse experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment

Must be forklift certified or have ability to become forklift certified w/in 3 months

Capability to lift 50lbs when necessary

Ability to operate lift trucks in a safe and professional manner and adhere to prescribed safety requirements

Maintain housekeeping standards in the warehouse
