(Business Unit/Project Specific Information): Project located in New Carrollton, MD.  Sensitive high-level program for DoD Customer.  Collect and prepare information required for the preparation of technical publications.  Write and edit program status documents; ensure appropriate grammar and format.  Prepare CDRL deliveries; prepare miscellaneous written text, provide editorial and integration functions; coordinate layout and organization of document, obtain and interpret data, drawings and specifications through research.  Participate in formal reviews of deliverable documents, and ensure documents meet editorial and Government specifications as required.



Experience in the following areas is required:

Excellent grammar and proofing skills required.
Minimum of 5++ years in writing and editing technical documents, processes, and procedures.
Proficient word processing skills on Macintosh and/or PC, with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and either Visio or another drawing/graphics tool. 
Must be a “team player” and able to work extended hours on occasion, if needed.
Excellent interpersonal skills needed for research and/or document coordination.

Competencies/Additional desired skills/pluses: 
Publications Editor.
