Responsibilities: Engages in the maintenance/repair of tower structures and related antenna equipment. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate complexity. Performs assigned tower/antenna maintenance tasks/efforts to include government directed work schemes under general direction. Work is performed in both a shop setting and outside on various type of job/construction sites. Work is performed at heights greater than 10 feet and up to 220 feet. Receives direction from the Tower/Maintenance Tech IV. Works with minimal supervision. Specific responsibilities include: Responsible for work accomplished in accordance with published schedules; Interprets drawings, sketches, and blueprints to determine scope of work; Determines parts, supplies, and material requirements for job accomplishment; Safely climb with confidence all climbable structures using OSHA mandated techniques and/or KRS Environmental Safety and Health requirements; Safely hoist materials and tools aloft using established KRS site approved techniques; Safely set and effectively utilize lifelines, suspension, and other OSHA mandated and/or KRS site approved climbing equipment and anchoring techniques; Recognize and identify potential fall hazards; Initiates actions to correct unsafe work conditions; Performs corrosion control work on tower structures, their components, and related antenna equipment in accordance with the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC) standards, to include weather proofing coaxial lines and connectors; Repair/replace defective tower components, (e.g., guy wires, anchoring bolts, cross braces, etc.); Exercise best business practice to industry standards in repair/replacement of tower components; Assist with the repair/replacement of antenna and related components as needed; Show proficiency with all tools and equipment used to complete assigned work tasks to include specialized rigging equipment, portable generators, air compressors, and other equipment required to complete the job; Conduct on the job training of personnel as required;may provide guidance to less experienced personnel; Maintain and use respiratory and safety equipment; Store, handle and dispose of material and hazardous waste; Comply with all applicable federal, state and local requirements for Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Protection, and Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste; Assist supervisor in planning and implementing special projects, ongoing major projects and possible future requirements based on age and usage of tower structures and related antenna equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent plus 6 to 8 years of full time experience in skilled tower maintenance and repair work- to include a minimum of 3 years working at heights of 80 feet or more. Must successfully complete company climber certification program, must be able to obtain USAKA driver's license for operating motor vehicles and motorized lift equipment. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and work with prolonged standing and reaching. Must have knowledge of the hazards involved and safety precautions necessary in tower maintenance and repair work. Desire 80 (or equivalent) hours of course work in a specialized Competent Climber Certification training program at a recognizable school or training facility. Desired applicant will possess the ability to apply personal work attitudes such as honesty, responsibility and trustworthiness required to be a productive employee, respond appropriately to supervision by following policy and cooperating with supervisors,and displays a high level of initiative, commitment and effort towards completing assignments efficiently with attention to detail.

AC&R Technician III (Full Time/Unaccompanied)

Responsibilities: The job consists of the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of air conditioning and refrigerant equipment, mechanical support systems, and the frequent modification of, or extensions to the facilities supporting a large radar complex at the Kwajalein Ronald Reagan Test Site in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Basic equipment ranges from window air conditioner units to 250 ton centrifugal and 190 ton rotary-screw chillers. Support systems includes air compressors, reciprocating chillers, pneumatics and electrical controls air cooled condensers, condensing fan coil units circulating pumps, chilled water systems, air handlers, outdoor and indoor packaged and split DX units, air driers, chiller micro-processor and computer control centers, 4-10 inch butterfly mechanical valves, pressure regulating and fisher control valves, plate and shell-tube heat exchangers, and two sets of seawater ?Y? strainer bank systems in addition, the salt air laden atmosphere and the use of seawater for heat rejection demands a more than normal attention to maintenance and corrosion. Perform the duties and responsibilities of a Journeyman level mechanic with a strong background in HVAC and refrigeration equipment to include hands on experience in operating and troubleshooting industrial systems. Must be able to act with limited supervision and be physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position that could include moderate amounts of lifting and bending. Supervise other Mechanics as needed. Communicate well both verbally and in writing in the English language. Perform other duties as assignedRequirements: Must have 10 years experience as an air conditioner mechanic and valid state license. Supervisor, Engine and Electric Shops - Marine Dept. (Full Time / Accompanied)

Responsibilities: Oversees repairs and maintenance of the electrical engine systems of the USArmy vessels assigned to USArmy at Kwajalein Atoll. In c harge of the maintenance and supply systems for the electrical and engine shops and their repair functions. Develops the electrical and engine specification plans for each vessel over haul. Prepares annual performance reviews of the assigned shop personnel and provides expert knowledge on engineering issues and establishes standard practice plans for repairs. Assist the Oil Spill response team ?CHARLIE?. May be assigned to vessels as Chief Engineer as needed. Assists and reports directly to t h e Port Engineer for orders, guidance, training and duties. Conducts on the job training of vessel engineers as required. Develops effective preventive maintenance program for shop equipment. Ensures that every vessel is ready to support assigned missions. Will assist in the disciplinary system to include review of warning sheets, investigative complaints of violations of company and government rules and regulations, and make reports to Port Engineer of such activity. Will coordinate with other departments on maintenance issues and repair requirements. Performs general vessel inspections and SeeSOR inspections. May as be tasked as acting Port Engineer in such absence. Performs other duties as assigned. Work is performed at Kwajalein normally an 8 hour day in port and at sea, on board the assigned vessels. Work may be in excess of 8 hours when necessary.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, US Coast Guard or US Army 1600T Chief Engineer?s or DDE License with all applicable STCW endorsements for international waters for vessels up to 1600T. Able Body Seaman (Full Time/Unaccompanied)

Responsibilities: Work on and maintain assigned vessel KMRSS WORTHY during normal work to include being in charge of RMI deck hands when performing multi-person tasks. Perform required preventive maintenance and assist in any major repairs, when necessary. Stands underway helm and lookout watches as directed by the captain. While the vessel is in foreign ports (outside Kwajalein ) will stand quarterdeck and security watches. In emergencies will perform assigned duties as part of the emergency response team and during abandon ship will take charge of a life raft and emergency crew. Specific Responsibilities: Maintain the cleanliness and preservation of the vessel under direction of the Mate. Stands underway helm and lookout watches and inport quarter deck security/fire watches. Be capable of being trained to properly respond to emergency situations, (fire, flood, manoverboard etc) Help manage RMI indigenous deck hand crew in job assignments. Reports to t h e captain or mate any unsafe condition, especially when on watch underway. Manages the deck tools and paint lockers. Approximately 85% of the work will be inport and 15% underway for Range Mission Support. Normally, crewmembers work 40 hours 8 hours per day 5 days per week except while underway for more than 24 hours when they will work 8 hours in 24 for every day the vessel is underway. Most mission assignments will be for several weeks at a time during which there may be times that are greater than 8 hours. The employee may also be assigned to other Marine Operations craft to fill in as qualified for local vessel runs which may also be in excess of 8 hours. Works under t h e supervision of t h e vessel?s captain with the authority to accomplish the duties described herein in accordance with Corporate Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and applicable US Army regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of full time directly related experience. Must have US Coast Guard Merc h ant Mariners Document with Able Seaman endorsement and STCW certification basic safety. Desire basic and advanced firefighting certificate and survival craft certificate. Must have a good command of the English language written and verbal with the ability to follow directions. Prefer experience as a deck hand aboard any watercraft greater than 20 tons. Has authority to stop activities that may pose imminent and unforeseen safety hazards or dangers to self or fellow team members. Position may include personnel supervision and technical advisor/consultant to supervisors.

Requirements: Two years experience as a paid-professional firefighter. Graduation from a recognized fire academy resulting in International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (ProBoard) certification as a Firefighter I and Hazmat Awareness and Operations. Fire Science degrees (AS or BS) may be substituted for experience and fire academy training if candidate possesses IFSAC or Pro Board Firefighter I and Hazmat Awareness & Operations certifications. Desire IFSAC or ProBoard Firefighter II, Aircraft Rescue Firefighter (ARFF), Driver/Operator, Hazmat Technician, and DoT First Responder (Advanced 1st Aid).

Per GS081 series, maximum age for entry in the Fire Protection Specialist field is 37 years and candidate must have a high school diploma or GED. Candidate must pass a thorough physical fitness exam IAW NFPA 1500, drug testing, and background investigation.

Facilities Engineer IV ( Full Time / Unaccompanied)

Responsibilities: Serve as a professional civil/structural engineer performing project management duties in support of a military installation or complex. Specific duties include: managers design team and orchestrates the planning, design, cost estimating, and phased scheduling of the project. Consulting engineer for civil related design aspects of assigned projects. Provides professional consultations on a broad range of difficult civil and structural engineering issues and problems, and provides advice to requesting organizations. Interfaces with contractors, COE, architect and engineer firms, and contracting officers to resolve unforeseen problems during design, identifies regulatory restraints, and facilitates the exchange of information to expedite work. Keeps current with emerging technologies for programmed development. Uses computers and software such as information management programs, computer aided design and drafting (CADD) and project tracking programs to solve engineering problems and facilitate work. Keep current on relevant software applications. Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures, and performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment. Observes that federal state and local codes concerning health safety and environment are strictly adhered to in the programming design and construction of real property facilities. Accountable for timely completion of all work, working closely and harmoniously with other employees, and adherence to contract requirements and CDC policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: BS degree in Civil Engineering, valid state professional license in Civil Engineering (or ability to obtain one in 6-12 months) Must have 4-10 years of full time direct experience within the field of Civil engineering, Professional knowledge of a broad range of civil engineering concepts, principles, and practices, and familiarity with other engineering disciplines and architecture. Electrician III/IV Power Plant/Generator Shop (Full Time /Unaccompanied)

Responsibilities: Overall electrical maintenance and repair in the power plant and switchgear watch standing and operations. Perform mechanical and electrical disassembly and reassembly of electrical equipment from 24 volts DC to 4160 volts AC. Perform overhauls of/on various electrical equipment. Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 3-5 years of experience working in a similar diesel engine electric power generating plant. Supervises skilled and semiskilled carpentry, electrical, plumbing, roof repair, painting and plastering tasks in the maintenance and repair of housing facilities. Supervises and evaluates the work of a subordinate staff and effectively recommends personnel actions related to selection, disciplinary procedures, performance, leaves of absence, grievances, and administers personnel related policies and procedures. Maintains an aggressive safety initiative within area of responsibility; adheres to all Company and local ES&H policy, applicable OSHA, Federal and State laws for Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Protection. Document all work in accordance with Public Works Work Management System. Use Kwajalein Enterprise Asset Management System (KEAMS). Ensure all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) issued to area of responsibility is accounted for, maintained, and safeguarded. Maintain a flow of quality work and make adjustments in work schedules in accordance with overall priorities; develops schedules and is responsible for work accomplished in accordance with published schedules. Estimate/report on project completion times/dates and maintain records of work accomplishments and staff time expended. Make informal estimates of production capability that is used in planning and estimating budget needs. Inspect work while in progress and upon completion to ensure quality results. Determine parts, supplies, and material requirements for job accomplishment. May prepare and forward material requisitions to Supply department. Provide general maintenance worker training in procedures and methods of best commercial, local and UBC buildings and structures maintenance practices. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements : 5 years of related experience within building maintenance and repair. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation/criminal background check and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information as required for the position offered.

You and authorized dependents, if any, traveling to Kwajalein are required to have a valid passport in your possession prior to departure.

Warehouseman Lead (Roi-Namur) (Full Time/ Unaccompanied)

Responsibilities: Position supervises small warehouse groups in the receiving, storing and issuing of product accurately from central warehouse location.
