AMWELD LOS ANGELES DISTRIBUTION CENTER located in Pomona, Ca. provides AMWELD brand hollow metal doors and frames to customers in southern california and beyond.
Our office staff consists of 7 people dedicated to a high level of customer service. Our warehouse/will call staff consists of 6 people pulling material from racks and loading trucks.
Our welding shop currently employs 8.
We are currently looking for candidates with welding and grinding experience or can adapt to welding 16 gauge cold rolled steel. All levels of experience will be considered. Will train right person. Hollow metal experience a big plus.
Tasks include assembling simple door frames and welding them together on the face of the corners with a continuous bead. Grinding to a finish, sanding and spraypaint the corners. Opportunity for advancement into more complicated work if desired.
Normal day shift 6:30am to 3pm. We are putting together a modified swing shift that will start in the late afternoon and end in the late night.
