If you are looking for a career opportunity with a company that has a history of success, look no further.  TACO Metals, Inc. a leading manufacturer/distributor of marine products that has been in business for well over forty years has an opening for a Scheduler in its North Miami Beach facility.  The Primary purpose of the position would be the scheduling of all areas of production for the MARFAB Division assuring continuous, uninterrupted production of jobs that meet the company?s requirements for efficiency and the customer?s expectation of on-time delivery.  Your responsibilities would include:

?  Maintaining the integrity of the manufacturing scheduling system.

?  Maintaining raw material subassembly and finished goods inventories at optimum levels.

?  Generating the Production Requirement Report.

?  Reviewing processes and systems to ensure inventory accuracy.

?  Researching on-hand materials and sub-assemblies, to produce product and assure proper stocking levels.

?  Communicating to purchasing materials needed for production of kits.

?  Generating Open Production Orders Worksheet which tracks all kit production movement between shop floor, cells, vendors, deliveries and assists in tracking of products.

?  Follow up with vendors for feedback, status then update system accordingly.

Your qualifications should include:?  Computer literate with strong proficiencies in Microsoft Office.?  Ability to work well under pressure.

?  Extensive hands on experience with a computerized production planning system ? (Syspro if possible).

?  Ability to analyze situations and react in a timely manner.

?  Good team player, customer focused, must demonstrate a sense of urgency.

?  Strong oral and written communication skills.

?  Sound judgment.

?  Ability to assimilate large quantities of numeric and verbal data.

?  APICS certified a plus
