AT/FP Training and Exercise Planner

Key Role: Provide Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection (AT/FP) support to a client in all matters pertaining to training and exercises for Force Protection. Develop training and exercises that test the client’s response to mass casualties, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high-yield explosive consequence management, a domestic preparedness program, disaster preparedness, continuity of operations, and defense support to civil authorities within the USNORTHCOM AOR. Coordinate and interface directly with local clients, Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces, DoD agencies, and other services in the development and conduct of AT/FP training and exercises.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:

-3+ years of experience with anti-terrorism or force protection

-Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically to senior military and civilian leaders required

-Experience with presenting effective operational briefings to general officers

-Knowledge of Marine Corps commands, structures, and operations as well as MARFORNORTH’s mission, functions, organization, structure, and processes

-Knowledge of USMC correspondence and admin requirements

-Knowledge of DoD, Navy, and USMC regulations, orders, and directives

-Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a multitude of potentially conflicting priorities

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:
BA or BS degree in a related field required

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
