Job Description:

The Senior Logistics Engineer (SLE) will:

? Be responsible for leading & conducting logistics engineering tasks such as:Designing & developing metricsTechnical data managementLogistics requirements analysisLevel of Repair Analysis (LORA)Failure Modes, Effects, & Criticality Analysis (FMECA)Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)Reliability, Availability, & Maintainability (RAM) analysisSupportability analysis, risk analysis, & trade studies in support of new DoD weapons systems acquisition programs & for the reengineering of existing systems

? Provide technical & analytical support to other acquisition logistics processes such as:Logistics/Product Support PlanningPerformance Based Logistics (PBL)Process ReengineeringIntegrated Logistics Support (ILS)Business Case Analysis (BCA)

 

Requirements:

? Must have a Bachelors Degree in Military Logistics Engineering or related field

? Must have Ground/Guided Missile Defense Background

? Must have secret clearance or be clearable

? Military background is a plus

 

Additional Skills & Experience:

 

? Ability to maintain existing business relationships & create new business opportunities.

? Strong analytical, project management, & communication skills required.

? Certified Public Logistician, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level II or III certification, or similar designations are a plus.
