Scientific Advisor

Key Role: Perform challenging consulting work on chemical and biological agent detection and protection. Provide important technical and scientific support for US government clients. Serve as part of a diverse, talented project team. Use technical expertise and problem-solving skills to make client recommendations. Assist in research efforts, writing reports, and preparing oral presentations. Meet challenging deadlines and client expectations while maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to the firm’s core values. Travel periodically as required. This position does not involve laboratory work.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:

-3-5 years of experience with chemical and biological agent detection and protection 

-Ability to liaise at industry functions required

-Knowledge of biological and chemical defense as they relate to homeland security and defense issues

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills 

-Possession of excellent analytical skills required

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills required

 

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:

MS degree in Chemistry or Biology required; PhD degree preferred
