Responsibilities
Source and develop new customers, monitor market trends, customer base, program pricing, competitor's strategies, and product development, recommend strategies needed to increase market share and competitiveness, build and maintain relationships with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities, advise and assist in establishing annual budget, prepare and negotiate agreements and long-term contracts, coordinate marketing plans and perform market surveys to meet customer needs and aid in program planning and pricing, administrative responsibility for U.S. Wittenstein Motion Control and their development and training, subject to strict adherence to US export controls (e.g. ITAR regulations), ensuring maximum integration of the U.S. company's engineering and sales activities with the Wittenstein Group.
Qualifications
Strong communication, business development and presentation skills, experience in the military/defense sectors, degree in engineering or marketing with an emphasis on electro mechanical systems, 3 plus successful years in technical sales of electro mechanical products in the military/defense market, ability to travel extensively, experience in project management, technical understanding, understanding of German language helpful, understanding of QM and CM procedures in the military/defense industry, experience working with mid size company, must have computer skills and be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
