OVERVIEW

We are looking for a self-starting, organized Senior Systems Engineer with proven management, technical, analytical, and organizational skills. The successful applicant will support the Defense Information Systems Agency?s (DISA) National Gateway Center, a multi-level secure messaging switch center for the Department of Defense serving classified users worldwide, either direct-connected or through the Government Defense Message System using NIPRNET and SIPRNET.

The Department of Defense?s secure messaging backbone serves as a vital link in the transfer of multi-level secure information among the department?s personnel, contractors, other U.S. government agencies and allies. Responsibilities include testing and supporting the Multi-Functional Interface (MFI), Mail List Agent (MLA), CP-XP and DMS test labs and working with DMS product experts. Responsibilities also include testing and supporting operational use of the CommPower MFI, MLA and AMHS, provide consulting to DMS users and technical evaluation of proposals.

Qualifications At least 2 years experience on messaging systems, directory services, security or related topics; At least 8 years experience as a Systems Engineer; Master?s Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field; Excellent time management, organizational, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills; Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
