Sr. Proposal Manager

Description:
Proposal Center Manager for Annandale Proposal Center of 4 personnel providing leadership and guidance for junior personnel. In addition manages all activities involved in the development and revision of large proposals (over $250M), involving multiple Strategic Business Units and subcontractors; thoroughly reviews Request for Proposals to develop Proposal Plans and compliance; responsible for implementation of the capture/win strategy and complete compliance; coordinates proposal reviews with management; ensures adequate resources are available to support proposal development and production efforts; reviews/rewrites proposal inputs and coordinates with technical personnel to ensure accuracy; coordinates corporate-wide resources to support proposal efforts including purchasing, contracts, facilities, etc.; provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced proposal specialists.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Typically requires 8-10 years of related experience managing proposal efforts in a government contracting environment;2. Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of proposal development in a government contracting environment,; strong ability to facilitate strategy development and lead diverse multi geographic teams; Advanced knowledge of the company?s products, services, and customer base; Ability to understand and convey technical concepts; Demonstrated effective communications skills; Proficient in the use of word-processing and graphics software;

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
May be required to travel to other Anteon offices to provide proposal support; particularly PAX River or Rockville, MD Offices.
