Job Description: Support the U.S. Army Armor School by collecting and assessing data from military operations, identifying potential lessons, preparing lessons learned findings and reports, and integrating lessons learned into academic instruction. Disseminate lessons learned products to instructors, students, doctrine writers, and training developers. Develop and submit issues, sub-issues, questions, and observations into the Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL). Collaborate with CALL and representatives at other TRADOC Centers/Schools to provide proactive and timely lessons learned support to the Armor School. Provide guidance and training to the Armor School regarding the conduct of structured interviews, directed surveys, and other lessons learned collection techniques. Present classes on how to use CALL and other Army Knowledge Management tools (BCKS, Fires Knowledge Network, etc).

Education: Graduate of Captain's Career Course (CCC)/Officer Advanced Course or a Senior NCO Academy required. Graduate of Command and General Staff College or MEL IV producing school desired. An Associate Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required; Bachelors Degree desired.

Required Skills: In-depth knowledge of Army operations and operations and doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel and facilities (DOTMLPF). Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft 2000 office products and ability to use Army Knowledge Management tools effectively). Knowledge of operations and programs of instruction at the Armor School. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Understanding of military staff processes.
