Assistant Director, Major & Planned Gifts
The Assistant Director, Major & Planned Gifts will assist the Assistant Vice President in planning and implementing a Major Gifts Program for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Foundation. This position plays a key role in helping to generate gifts related to the capital campaign for CHLA through coordination of cultivation activities as well as organization of support activities for professional and volunteer staff and through assigned prospect solicitations.
***NOTE*** This position is located in our Glendale, CA offices*********
Position requires 4-Year College degree preferred or equivalent experience. Prefer coursework or experience in fundraising, non-profit organizations, journalism, communications, or business. Due to its special nature, this position requires 3-5 years experience. Experience in managing deadlines and handling a considerable amount of detail accurately. Demonstrated computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with various levels of internal and external constituencies. Experience in working with volunteers, board and committee support a plus.
