Bilingual Spanish Therapists

The Help Group is currently seeking bilingual (Spanish/English) therapists to provide clinical services within our children's mental health programs.  These day-rehabilitation programs are for at-risk children, ages 3-12, who are emotionally or behaviorally challenged.

 

We are currently searching for therapists for our Stepping Stones pre-school program (in Van Nuys) and our REACH after school program (in Culver City).  Please visit www.thehelpgroup.org for more information on each program.



QUALIFICATIONS:

 

MSW, MFT, PhD or PsyD and must be registered with the Board of Behavior Sciences.  At least one year of clinical experience providing direct service to children with emotional disorders, as well as their families. 



ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

Perform individual, group and family therapy to high-risk children in pre-school and after-school settings.

 

Participate in a dynamic team environment to develop clinically appropriate program components.

 

Effectively Interface with parents and other caregivers from diverse socio-economic/ethnic groups.

 Sign on bonus of $1,000!!!  Candidates who can demonstrate complete fluency in Spanish will be given an additional $5,000 in salary!  Those with DMH paperwork experience will be given an additional $500 in salary.
