CAMPAIGN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
POSITION OPENING
CAMPAIGN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Temporary, full-time positions available for highly motivated, dynamic individuals who will provide support to the planning, organizing, implementation and successful completion of all campaigns within an assigned group of accounts. Tenure: 10 Positions, August 21st through December 15th. (Formal Training Aug 21 ? 25)
Duties and Responsibilities include:
? Monitoring Annual Campaign progress for assigned area and initiates and prepares reports.
? Representing United Way of Broward County and cultivating positive relationships with CEOs and Employee Campaign Managers of assigned accounts.
? Making calls as required for initial contact of individual/group/organization for campaign solicitation.
? Securing account information for each assigned account, and maintaining volunteer and account files.
? Presenting United Way of Broward County?s message and mission at motivational employee group meetings.
? Accompanying volunteers on calls to organizations and assures campaign commitments are clearly presented.
? Meeting with Employee Campaign Managers of donor companies to plan, organize and schedule the employee campaign.
? Monitoring campaign progress, and working to achieve projected dollar goal.
? Assuring development of appropriate procedures and tracking/accounting systems for area or responsibility,
including the collection and safekeeping of funds contributed, and preparing internal and external reports.
? Delivering campaign material and arranging for speakers, agency tours, films, etc.
Work Schedule:
Typical schedule is 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday. However, flexibility is required due to nature of the business. Schedule may be occasionally changed to meet evening and weekend requirements of donor companies.
Interaction:
Frequent contact with volunteers, agency staff, UWBC staff, community leaders, business organizations and CEOs, and the general public. Relationships must be handled in a professional manner to generate a positive image of the United Way of Broward County.
Driving to meetings/events is required. The incumbent is required to have a valid driver?s license and to have an automobile for transportation to meeting/events on various days at various times, plus adequate insurance. (Mileage reimbursement provided).
Minimum Qualifications:
F Bachelor?s Degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience normally represented by a Bachelor?s Degree will be considered.
F Sales/Marketing and/or public speaking/group presentations experience preferred.
F United Way or other non-profit experience is a plus.
F Administrative experience working with volunteers preferred.
F Sensitivity to human nature and the importance of timing in closing transactions required
F Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
F Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
F Excellent problem solving skills, providing positive feedback for performance improvement.
F Ability to follow through, and accept responsibility and accountability for assigned areas.
